What can I say about Albania? I lived there for 3 months. It's a land of hidden gems, of contrasts, of natural beauty that few people have experienced. Some of my best ever day trips have been in Albania. It's surprising, it's stunning, it's a little bit mysterious. And I love going there. To sit by the sea, drinking a coffee, while staring out over the calm waters to Corfu -what a spot. Not to mention the castles, the ancient ruins, the amazing 'Blue Eye' spring.
